Hey guys, I have a problem with my Seagate Backup Plus drive. I get
lots of uas_eh_abort_handler and uas_eh_reset_handler messages when I
do sustained writes to the drive.
The productid is 0bc2:ab34, which is not listed in the unusual_uas.h.
I added the device to it and recompiled the kernel and it didn't fix
the problem.
I don't get the error when I do sustained reads. I can replicate the
problem by doing: dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/backupdisk/test
There doesn't seem to be any corruption of data, it just makes large
transfers slow. I have attached the relevant portions of lsusb -v and
lspci -v, as well as the dmesg errors.
