Tested with 4.0-rc4. Problem persists exactly as earlier versions. This is a potentially serious issue. Plugging common external USB 3.0 hubs into the host USB 3.0 hub on a very popular HP laptop, using a very popular AMD chipset, locks up a CPU.
So far, over 3 weeks, no acknowledgement.
