First of all: Does it work with qmi_wwan? There is already a device entry there. You'll need to use qmicli (from libqmi) or similar to verify the QMI support. The driver probing is too forgiving to be a conclusive test. And if we're going to find out if qcserial is suitable, then we need to know the rest of the descriptor layout too. "lsusb -vd 05c6:9003" would be nice.
