Anyone using rsync with the --password-file option? I've got a command line that looks like:
rsync -v --password-file=/home/web/pwd -e ssh me.jpg web@sdcwww:/usr/wwwroot The pwd file has: web:password And it still asks me for a password.. it works when I put the password in, but that's about it. It doesn't appear to be attempting to read the pwd file, as I can change it's name to any old thing, and I don't get an error, but it still asks for the password. Very annoying as I want to script this to do webcam updates.. First one to tell me the solution gets the URL to the webcam pointing at my desk :-). Cheers, Chris Hellyar.
