Situation: loged into remote machine over ssh. Wish to start long process (wget download an iso).
Problem: If I close my ssh client (Putty) session (ie if I have to reboot this damn win box sometime today) the wget is gonna stop. Solution: somehow detach the wget process from the tty so when the tty closes, wget does not close down Method: thats what I want help with :-) I'm sure there is an answer, I just can't find it right now. BTW this is a FreeBSD box I am ssh'd into. -- Nick Rout <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
