I have an old (ancient) Compaq Proliant 1000 (486 DX 66) and two Prosignia
500 (Pentium 150)

All have SMART Raid controllers with a several scsi drives each. They are
already up and running in RAID-5, but one of the Prosignias has a dodgy raid
stack.

I've scored 2x4Gb drives and want to change it to RAID-0 on two drives, or
can I use the two good 2 Gb drives ?

I have no software to administer the raid set, and the compaq web site has
been less than useful... all I found was winNT or win2000 array config
software.

Any thoughts? No, the machine has no IDE, and only two PCI slots, occupied
by the raid controller and a 100 Mbit NIC. I'd have to either dump the PCI
raid controller for an IDE controller and drive, or use an (E)ISA
controller.
