I've been puzzling over this for a while. Other than getting dirty and deleting the whole thing, how does one prune the contents of a newsgroup folder in Netscape 4.x? As far as I can see, the bloomin' thing just keeps on growing and growing, until the monster file assimilates all available inodes, takes over the machine, spreads to nearby star systems and commences domination of the universe.
At this point, up to their eyeballs in decomposing newsgroup, the designers wish they'd implemented a "Delete" button for messages.
