You can mix and match, yes. However, if you have a simple hub, everything connected to taht hub will drop to the slowest common denominator, i.e. you're wasting your 100M cards. You want a switch, which adopts to speed individually on each port. I have heard an 8-port one can be had for $200, but I'm not sure whether that's true. You probably want a 16 anyway. Volker
