Yahoo Mail lets you configure external POP3 accounts to fetch mail
from, and others probably do to.

Paradise.Net are now using IMP to provide webmail access for their
users:
http://www.horde.org/imp/
It seems to work well. It looks like it uses IMAP rather than POP3,
though.
