Ok so I can setup the ntp package to get/set the time on my server via
ntp servers on the net.

I could also get all my windows and linux clents to get/set their own
time from the internet. However I would prefer to get the server to sync
with the internet and then the other clients on my lan get their time
info from my server, ie use ntp as a server. However with ntpd runing as
a daemon, the server does not answer on prt 123. How do I enable this?
Can't seem to find it in the docs.

BTW those who use ntpdat should be aware that it is being phased out in
favour of using ntpd with some special options. May pay to change now
before you et taken by surprise wgen you update your package some time
in the future :-) See man ntpdate.

Thanks.
