Your simulation software should be capabel of saving an image ever X iterations. Then string these images together to make a cartoon-like animation. If you're fixated on powerpointless then simply put each frame on a separate slide, with a small time between slides, and turn on "auto-advance" or whatever.
Personally - I use OHPs and video tape for presentations. Theres a thought - if you have a video card with composite out, then simply run that to a video recorder... an analogue solution though. > ---------- > From: Mahesh De Silva[SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Reply To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Monday, January 28, 2002 4:43 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: A Question > > Hi All, > > I need a bit of help.. > > I'm running some simulations on Linux (some > cellular automata), the results of which I need to > bring into PowerPoint - I'd like to do this as an mpeg > or movie of some sort. > > Is anyone aware of any applications that will allow me > to capture something evolving on screen as an mpeg? > Or > something I can pipe the output to and capture that > way? > > Many thanks > Mahesh > > > > > ===== > For Linux CD's check out http://www.xsolutions.co.nz/linux > > http://my.yahoo.com.au - My Yahoo! > - It's My Yahoo!
