well thats fine, and I'm an ms basher with the best of them BUT the real bearer of blame is the owner of the iis server who has left it unpatched for months (maybe a year now) after it should have been patched. Linux software, as with all software, has bugs and vulnerabilities too. If you are still running an year old version of apache then theres probably someone out there who can exploit you.
