one other thing...
"kudzu -p" reveals that the modem is detected ("class: other", "bus:
serial", "desc: RSS|0204 56000bps etc") on ttyS0 but "driver: ignore". So
it knows what it is I think but has no driver for it. What now?
:::
I have a D-Link DFM-560E external modem that I want to run on my Redhat 7.2
box. However, Kudzu doesn't seem to see it although I suspect that it is
probed each time because the little modem lights flash when the boot
sequence looks for new hardware. The modem is plugged into a Com port on
the box. I don't know what to do. There's no help out on the web for me,
least of all from the D-Link site. I can't read German either.

You can see the blurb about the modem at the D-Link website (badly designed
at least for netscape) and get all the Win***s drivers.

HELP!
