PS maillog is also written to by other processes such as fetchmail,
imapd, popd etc. Of course if you want a log file just for sendmail you
can no doubt fiddle with the syslog configuration. This si left as an
exercise for the reader, although theres no doubt a zillion sites out
there which will tell you how.
