Quite right. And Nick should have thought of that too, as a lawyer. There are a lot of cases involving conditions on drycleaning tickets, or carparking buildings, where the punter can't read them until AFTER first using the product/service. BUT HERE'S THE RUB...Once you have used the product/service once,and thus become aware (or should have become aware) of the condition, it will then apply to all future dealings with that product/service supplier. So it may not be valid for XP, but may will be valid for all subsequent 'upgrades'. And now its been drawn to our attention, we can't say we didn't buy XP not knowing about the condition. Moral, don't buy XP when you can get Linux. Though I can't see why MS want such a stupid condition. It just forces those wanting to run other OSs to use the oppositions' products.
