Hazarding a guess, almost certainly the size of one of the log files is being exceeded, or possibly a file in the cache itself is too large. Do you have problems with large files such as *.mp3 in the traffic? There has also been mention of some security problems with squid recently. It is somewhat possible that your server has been interferred with in some way. I'd suggest updating to the current release of squid without delay anyway. -- Sincerely etc., Christopher Sawtell.
