if you are setting up a mailserver on your lan use imap. whether you can still use pop depends on the setup. If you use uw imap it will serve both pop and imap to the same inbox, but don't forget to get the pop client to leave messages on the server, or they will disappear from imap clients! I don't think cyrus will do pop as well as imap, but once you've got into imap you will want to ditch pop anyway! -- Nick Rout <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
