Approximately 55 present.
General Business:
Nick Elder suggested that we should gather a list of names and email
addresses of those people who would be willing to participate in organizing
an install fest this year. This was generally agreed on and a pen and paper
was handed around during the meeting.
There was no further general business.

Dave Lane reported on the promotion of open source and linux in New Zealand.

Chris Hellyar gave his presentation on networking. The start of his
presentation was highlighted with a slide show using open-office. Then a
live demonstration on networking with linux boxems to linux, linux to
windows. And linux boxems to linux boxems with Boot-ROMS (ie no hard
drives-remote boot over the network)
