I recall some time ago reading about the Unixware operating system which
used (and presumeably still does use) the Veritas Jounalling file system.

Sales staff would, in the course of a demonstration, start some fairly
crucial operation on a machine running Unixware and part way through hit the
power switch.

The OS didn't take over the world, but this feature sold a few copies!
