Auckland, Greenlane Conference Centre, next to the racetrack. All the details are here: http://www.computerworldexpo.co.nz/Public/index.cfm It's open Wednesday - but I take a break on the Wednesday to get work done - and Thursday this week. The worthwhile visit part, well it depends on what you do there and as one of the exhibitors I'd consider myself somewhat biased in the field of giving that kind of advice. Ethical dilema thing, so I'll leave that bit to others. Notable by their absence are Microsoft, IBM, HP and Compaq (deceased). The visitors must be getting the feeling it's some kind of Linux shop what with 4 Linux stalls, some of which are vending multiple Linux-related products. The sight of a major corporate such as Sony (for whom I'm doing some part-time consultancy) touting Linux as an important feature is kind of knocking the socks off of some people. If you do go, don't forget to ask those vendors who aren't advertising Linux compatability or support "Why not?" And buy a beer for those who are :) Vik :v) -- /"\ . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . /"\ \ / ASCII Ribbon Campaign One of The Olliver Family \ / X - NO HTML/RTF in e-mail http://olliver.family.gen.nz X / \ - NO MSWord docs in e-mail Public PGP key available there / \
