cygwin's Xfree project should fit the bill..

http://www.cygwin.org

I've been using it for quite a while, and the only problem I have with it is
the alt-tab key binding. If you alt-tab in a full screen X session it
switches back to windows, and switches tasks in the X session.

It's very handy for doing development work cross-platform, as it gives you
access to Native X windows and native MS windows on one machine at the press
of a key (alt-tab, mutter mumble)

I use it to access a headless server that lives in my gge, rather geeky, but
very handy for testing software under Linux without having to re-boot my
workstation.

Cheers, Chris.

Subject: Free X Clients for Windows?

Hi all!

Anyone know of any free X Clients for Windows. X-Win is very good but
sometimes people don't like to pay :-)
