Anything with a 2-digit age in months? ;)

The cdrecord and mkisofs versioning scheme is seriously mentally
deficient!!

IFAIK the drive boots from a file on the ISO file system which you
specify.

Yes, it's the default?

> Is the someone whos used cdrecord out there?

Yes, since approx 1998 (cdwrite before), and it has never(!) done a dud
(I had duds, but due to other factors). I did generally use the
versions from the SuSE distribution, if there were dud releases SuSE
probably avoided them. SuSE uses cdrecord to master their
distributions, so does probably everyone else. I don't quite see what
you're doing wrong, except the command line you previously posted was
bogus.

The READMEs with cdrecord were always good, there was one for making
bootable CDs (which I haven't yet had a need for).

Did you figure it out yet? Can you post a quick howto? Or otherwise,
post a complete screenlog?

Jrg Schilling is very responsive (even if the response often is "your
C-lib is crap" or "your SCSI implementation is a laugh", but cdrecord
is ok...).
