If interested, I'll see if a friend of mine who owns diggy.co.nz would be interested in being involved.  He's a big Linux and OSS proponent and has offices in several countries...

Hi-ho,

That reads fine.. Dave Lane's business (egressive) certainly would be worth
of mention, and I suspect he can point out other firms doing work in the OSS
and Linux areas that we're not already familiar with Dave?.

I think inviting pretty much any vendor we can find who knows how to spell
Linux is a good idea.. Gives the attendees who are new to the Linux
environment a good impression of what support then can get commercially if
they are a business user. Well maybe a spelling test is a little light, but
you get the idea.. :-).

Also, Chuck a note in there that there is further information at
http://www.linuxnut.co.nz .. (Actually http://test.linuxnut.co.nz at the
moment, will change it when there is more content on there... Looking for a
volunteer who isn't scared of vi)

Cheers, Chris H.

Here's a *draft*. I thought I'd target it at a wide range of people. It
made sense to say that representatives from local Linux companies will be
there as well---who wants to contact them and invite them (or did I just
do that by posting to this list:)

Also, it might be possible to get some sponsorship to buy light
refreshments for the day. Or something anyway.

What are everyone's thoughts?
