That is the same functionality you get with with NT or win2k servers.

being able to 'undelete' a file from a server is a bit of a security issue..

If I delete a file on my win98 box it goes (by default) into the recycle
bin. Its a good but not foolproof backup against doing something silly.

If I delete a file off the samba server thru windows explorer it does
not seem to go into my local recycle bin.

Is there a way to emulate the recycle bin on a samba server?

(Actually I think this MAY be a windows question, because the same may
be true of any networked drive whether on another windows box or a samba
box, but bear with me huh?)
