The kernel haeaders are now part of the kernel-source RPM.
Once that is installed the default path should be
/lib/modules/<kernelVersion>/build/include in vmware-config.pl
Note that kernelVersion is the actual version of your running kernel and
build is a symlink to the kernel source.

Cheers
Dave

Hi
Has anyone had experience with installing vmware on RH7.3.
I have just downloaded the 30 day trial version of vmware 3.1 workstation
and tried to install it. As the vmware package does not include a module
for RH7.3, you have to run the vmware-config.pl program that tries to
compile a module after it asks you a lot of questions. I am stuck at the
question that asks for the directory that contains the kernel header files.
When I replied /usr/include I got back the message:
"The directory of the kernel headers (version 2.4.9-9) does not match your
running kernel (version 2.4.18-3). Even if the module were to compile
successfully, it would not load into the running kernel."
I can only assume the RH people have not included the correct header files
etc to match the distro.
Has anyone got suggestions.
Thanks
Bill
