Which just shows to go ya...

A few years ago when I was looking after MS boxes that were connected to the
net I'd be up with all their patches etc, but never patched *ix machines
unless they crashed..  Now all of the gear I'm looking after that is
'online' is Linux and I'm out of touch with the other, and only patch MS OS
stuff if there is a known bug issue...

Same horse, different rider. :-).
