I remember seeing lots of Viewsonic monitors in the uni computer labs
with all sorts of problems... no doubt related to being left on 24/7
without power-saving. I think they stood up to the task pretty well,
thats a lot to ask of any monitor.

I'm using a Philips 19" (trinitron tube) which I like a lot. Its
like heaven after using that little laptop for 2 months. I also got
sick & tired of that stupid little knobbly mouse-thing...

I've never been impressed with KTX screens. I didn't know Edge had
disappeared... when did that happen? When I get my hands on a G3 box
my ultra-reliable Edge-based 486 Linux server will be upgraded to a
P133 which is based on other dodgy hardware obtained from the sellout
when PC General collapsed. Remember that? :)

I've mentioned before that I'm not terribly pleased about Sony
either. Good monitors but they ship with crap VGA cables. A
colleague of mine bought a 19" and had to buy a BNC cable to get a
decent picture.

Cheers,
