And it also helps if your cable isn't half stuffed. My Displaytech LCD module now functions :)
A loose connection within a plug just caused me a couple of evenings frustration. Stupid IDC parallel connectors. It had some positive benefit though; My driver was well debugged before I got the module to work (am I _really_ sending it the right binary?). Now I just need to modify the software to support the higher res, and figure out a tidy way to support both Optrex and Displaytech paging schemes... they're different enough to cause me headaches. My HW development box is more portable than my server so if I get this done in time for the installfest I might pop along.
