I have an external Alcatel ST Home for sale, having just changed to telstraclear. I have had it working fine with jetstart and using my linux server as a NAT box. This one is good in that the modem does a PPTP link to the linux server, which then has a ppp0 interface. That means that existing firewall scripts and so on don't change. I was somewhat lazy too, being a 100 mbit hub, and only a 128 Kbit connection I had the modem going straight into the hub, rather than using a second nic in the server. IE, no extra hardware costs.
