"PERL and command-line utility to control the display. The 'client'
talks to the display-driver (resides in userspace) over UDP/IP why the
client don't even need to be on the same machine. Functions for displaying
scrolling text and own characters (for instance Swedish characters). The
LCD connects to the parallell-port and there is a building instruction on
the main webpage (easy, just solder some wires between the LCD and the
PC-connector)."
