I've played briely with VMware 3.x. Certainly 2.x was very stable for Win98 and Win2K, and I ran into few issues. I would say that 3.x's mouse handling is _vastly_ improved over 2.x, which was my biggest complaint with VMware. Laggy mouse response and not picking up/dropping the mouse for true X-style focus was an annoyance in 2.x, but that seems to have all but disappeared in 3.x, it's much snappier. The suspend/resume stuff works very well, I found no problems with it, and it was a useful feature for speeding up the time it took to get Win up and usable each morning. This was all under Debian, but I'd be supprised if the same wasn't true for RedHat. - -- "I know of no technological device at this time that would [prevent priracy] and if it did exist, it would only be a matter of days before the [..] manufacturers would have an override piece of equipment on their machine and you would start from ground zero again." -- Jack Valenti, President of the MPAA (1982) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.75-6 iD8DBQE9MTVjT21+qRy4P+QRArYcAJ4uXIk0QMj0898Gj/Xl04W1z7hxmACfRt5L qEP9/OouNzem7BZuFDZ2fLA= =zse2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
