A followup to my previous post.
The cdrom drive is indeed in use by the kernel. "fuser -auv" now gives
the following:
USER PID ACCESS COMMAND
/cdrom root kernel mount /cdrom
Re-mounting it then umounting from the original machine over nfs does not
work. Looks like it'll have to wait for a reboot :(
Also I finally have my other Slackware install done. I even got the
joystick port to work, after swapping the I/O card :( Its a pity as the
old one has a 558 on it which I was keen to play with (558 = dual 556;
supports two joysticks).
