You could be right. There was another game that I've tried running from the Red Hat Linux 7.1, I think it was some bird racing game, that runs pretty slow as well.
hmmm.....I wonder then how come I never could get any sound when on linux. It detected my sound card, ESS Audio Techonology, and seems ok but could never get any sound from it.
