Do we need a "room". The basement of the Computer Science building
might do the trick. Tables would need to be transported from somewhere.
Network and power could be used from the adjacent Maths labs. Cafe101,
an on-campus cafe, might be willing to open up their little shop just
inside the main doors for a few hours over lunch. I know they've been
willing to keep it open late some evenings when a big assignment was
due.
There is also a 90-seat leacture theatre with projector in the basement
that could be used for some demos. Also, the toilets are easy to find
if you're in the basement :-) It can get a bit noisy in the atrium
though, all that steel, concrete, and glass. Rooms 101 and 121 would
still be available as well.
