no, you can though download the development tarball and create your own
from sources. In the devel tarball the kernel config file is present, so
I can confirm for sure that scsi support is not enabled.

Either that or you can just use the config file to create a new kernel
and use that in the place of the existing one. 

In eityher case you will probably need to jig the install program, which
will be expecting /dev/hda to be present.
