Hi guys,

I've installed and configured Slackware 8.0 on my workstation, and I've
spent the past couple of evenings ironing out the little "issues". The
NVidia-supplied X server is very nice with the OpenGL screensavers :)

The only thing left to sort out now is the Wacom tablet. I've read
howto's, mini-howto's, micro-howto's and all sorts of web documentation.
Going by the kernel messages and the X startup log, everything should be
working with my current configuration. But it stubbornly refuses to
actually do anything in X. It runs just fine with gpm so I know the
kernel's talking to it, and X is talking to the kernel as it gives the
device ID and horiz/vert resolution figures:

(==) Wacom Kernel Input device name: "Wacom Intuos 4x5"
(==) Wacom tablet maximum X=12700 maximum Y=10360 X resolution=0 Y
resolution=0 suppress=0
[then a few more lines about the stylus/eraser/mouse tools I've
configured in /etc/X11/XF86Config]

Has anyone ever actually got one of these things working? Note its a USB
interface, XFree86 4.1.0, Kernel 2.4.5.

Cheers,

- Dave
