Hi Mike

Almost there too. Have changed to booting AGP SIS card first, and S3 now
initialises under Linux too. Have both cards in my XF86Config-4 file, and X
gets up and running, but KDE crashes just on the last stage of starting up,
necessitating a reboot.

I've tried combining original XF86Config-4 file which everything worked fine
with, and at least I'm getting a sensible res on my main monitor, but still
crashes at end of KDE startup. Who said Linux doesn't crash? (ducks)

Also, startx -scanpci does nothing on my machine??

Also, startx -- +xinerama does nought either. Is this necessary to make it
use 2nd monitor for desktop?

Hoping you're having more luck than I am! Thanks for ur advice!

Peace
Steve
