Yep, I've had X freeze up the keyboard.
I know the kernel is still chugging away in the background - I can hear it breathing.
("I know you're in there - I can smell your brain...")
So I've got an mgetty thingy in inittab listening to the serial port (not the
one my mouse uses, the other one), and a serial cable to connect to my 10 year
old HP48s calculator.
In theory I should be able to log in with the HP48s and kill X, but I haven't
got round to dl a terminal emulator for the HP.
