Most definitely. I wouldn't wish it on a first time 'nix user (the
differences to linux are enough to make most linux tutorials
inapplicable, and vi is almost compulsory). But, its fast, has a great
selection of ported software and is as
stable as hell. Contrary to what most linux geeks will tell you, most of
the long uptime webservers out there are running apache on BSD, not
linux.
