This comment is interesting. OK I'll bite. Why ? Now it is true that many purists will balk at some C++ design decisions but when I've read the Stroustrup book I've got the distinct feeling that some features have been added in order to ease the development and particularly management of large projects, i.e. in the million LOC range. I suspect that as Stroustrup works (or worked or whatever) for AT&T he probably knows a thing or two about the practical issues involving large projects ;-) > Stick with Java (or C#) for OOP. OK I'll have to see the million LOC projects here. Not that they don't exists necessary, it's just that I don't know about. I.e. my point is: I doubt that Java scale well in very large projects (besides speed) Python may be a wee bit better (maybe, but speed is still an issue). Cheers, -- Ryurick M.
