I've only had two problems with the menus:
1) The KDE menu did not import properly (E has a script to do this 
automatically).  I had to do this by hand.
2) Sometimes the "Log Out" button doesn't work the first time.

Oh, the menus support small icons as well.  I just haven't set mine up 
(there are a few under the Gnome menus).

I've had no crashes from E but I can't get any of the X login managers to 
work reliably.  I also can't get my Wacom tablet to work, and my fonts 
are not anti-aliased.

Of the above, only the tablet bothers me.  I hate mice.  I'll try getting 
it to work some day.
