One can compile a new module without a kernel rebuild - even a module
that has not been used by the current kernel.
You should at least try it - copy the files to the right place,
make modules modules_install
depmod -a
modprobe cpia
And report back to the group :-)
Also - who here knows about the wiki run by WLUG ? Lots of interesting
answers. http://www.wlug.org.nz/
