Hi Robert, Thanks for this - this was one of the first places I went to (was posted in this group some time ago I think). However the article says
"If you haven't yet fired up the version of OO.o included with Pscyhe, what are you waiting for? You'll be in for a pleasant surprise. The horrible, jagged font rendering of the past is gone. Even the user interface font is nicely rendered." I have to disagree in this case - OO still looks terrible. I installed the windows fonts as per isntructions, but they are still rendered badly in my setup (no special twiddling yet - bog standard shovel install). Most other proggies look fine under KDE.I will try under Gnome and see if it is any better...
