I usually miss the grub boot screen and end up booting the default OS, which may not always be the one I want.
In kdm you can set it up so that on the login screen you can choose which of the lilo menu items will be booted by default. I believe it executes /sbin/lilo to reset the default to achieve this. Does anyoneknow if you can acheive similar functionality with kdm and grub? (or gdm & grub? - although gdm has 25 dependencies to download and compile on my gentoo box!) -- Nick Rout <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
