Red Hat 8.0 Install problem

Unhandled exception pop up alert during installation (after package configuration and just winding up to install selected options)   Lots of system doing stuff messages - and at the very bottom   "OS Error: [Errno 12] Cannot allocate memory"   64MB not enough? Install size is only 2.074Gb   system now not responding   option to save complete script of bug to floppy didnt work :(   bugger.
