Venue Sydenham Community Association Hall. &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& General Business: The issue of our email list "off topic" postings was raised. Members generally agreed that the list email is getting flooded with OT postings of late. It was suggested that if the letters OT is placed at the start of the Subject line, then at least individuals can easily set up filtering in most email clients. The idea of having another installfest was mentioned. It was generally felt that we should have another installfest and that we should set up another email sub group for this. Asking for those interested in organization and participation in the installfest to join the sub group. (Chris Hellyer still has his server set up for this) Christopher Sawtell let the meeting members know of another LINUX course at Avonmore. Main points: course runs for a week starting 20th of January, for 5 days over one week. Hours being 9:30 to 3:30 daily. Cost $240. The course being held is subject to at least 10 people enrolling.
