If I recall correctly, you pull the green wire to ground in order to kick-start the PSU, but as mentioned - don't do it without a load, as switch-mose power supplies are not stable with no load and can blow themselves up due to the boredom of doing nothing...

Stick a 10W bulb or something similar across the 5V rail so it draws some current, this should be enough to keep it happy...

You dont. if it is not drawing a load, you'll blow it. If you must, use
google, there are several sites that mention which pins. You *NEED* to have
something drawing current. be it a couple of fans, whatever.
