Newbie question. I have installed RH 8.0 onto an E45 HP server which has a NIC card installed. The install picked up the card OK and appears to have configured it. In the Configure Network Settings under Ethernet Device it allows you to activate the card. Click on activate and it sits there but does not activate it. The green light on the NIC card is on and the install program has installed the correct driver (I pulled the card out to check the make and model number).
I have read the manuals (yes I printed them out...yes all of them. and take them to bed to read...) and I have done as they have suggested. I check the web out later in the day but if anyone has had the same problem and resolved it...some help would be appreciated. Peter van Hout
