Hi I'm on the board of a primary school which has recently installed their network cabling etc. but have just a peer to peer network. Soon they will have about 12 machines in total. At this stage I don't think that they would go for a total Linux solution for various reasons but I would like to suggest that they use Samba as a PDC.
I'ld be interested to know of other schools in Christchurch already using Samba in this way (particularly primary schools). It would be great to be able to speak to others to learn from their experience. Just as important, though, is that I can build a much stronger case if I can point the school to other instances where it's being currently used successfully. regards Eddie
