Hi-ho,
A question for those on the list more famliar with compiling their own
kernels with odd options..
This question comes about because I normally just play with 'make
xconfig' and remove stuff that I don't need, and optimise for the
architecture, to make get better performance (lots better in the case of
RH as it happens...)
Anyway, I want to add some options that I can't find in menuconfig or
xconfig..
I'm building some floppy boot disk images to use the LAN at work as a
cluster for some experiments with the linpack cluster benchmarking
tools, and I need to add in CONFIG_IP_PNP_DHCP=y and CONFIG_ROOT_NFS=y.
My problem is I can't find the config file to manually edit it.. I've
either gone blind or missed something in the doc's somewhere :-).
Anyone got a torch that works on the kernel Makefile maze? :-).
Cheers, Me...
